Viewing Film Details

See a film's synopsis, runtime, genres, trailer, and key status on one screen.

The film details screen in Convoy Cinema shows everything about a single film — its banner, title, release date, runtime, rating, genres, and synopsis — and gives you the actions to download it, watch its trailer, check its KDM key status, manage playlists, and play it back.

Before you start

  • A metadata line: full release date · runtime · film rating.

Actions

| Button | When shown | What it does |
|--------|------------|--------------|
| Download | Film not yet downloaded | Starts downloading the encrypted film — see Downloading a Film. |
| Play | Film downloaded | Loads the KDM key and starts playback on the external display — see Playing a Film with Player Controls. |
| View Trailer | Film has a trailer | Opens the trailer in a pop-up player. |

Watching the trailer

  1. Click View Trailer.
  2. The trailer plays in a modal (YouTube links are embedded automatically). Close the modal to return.

Key Information panel

For downloaded films, the Key Information panel reflects the current KDM key status — for example Key Valid, Key Expired, Key Not Yet Active, Expires today, or No Key Available, with the valid-from / valid-until dates. This refreshes periodically. If a valid key isn't present, using Play will prompt you to select a key file — see Playing a Film with Player Controls.

Deleting the film

  1. Click Delete.
  2. Confirm in the "Delete Downloaded Film" dialog — this permanently removes the downloaded file and cannot be undone.
  3. Click Delete. After a success message you're returned to the Films list.
