Creating & Playing Playlists

Create, edit, delete, and play back custom playlists with playlist controls.

Playlists let you queue content around a main feature film — for example trailers or pre-show items followed by the feature — and play the whole sequence back to back. In Convoy Cinema you manage playlists on the Playlists screen, reached from the top bar (Playlists) or the Manage Playlists button on a film's details page.

Before you start

How to create a playlist

  1. Open Playlists and click Create Playlist (or Create Your First Playlist if you have none).
  2. In the "Create New Playlist" window:
  • Enter a Playlist Name.
  • Choose the Main Movie from your downloaded films.
  • Add the other Videos in Playlist you want to include.
  1. Click Create Playlist. A "Playlist created successfully" message confirms it.

Editing or deleting a playlist

  • Edit (pencil icon on a playlist card) reopens the "Edit Playlist" window; change the name or main movie and click Update Playlist.
  • Delete (trash icon) removes the playlist. A "Playlist deleted successfully" message confirms it.

Each card shows the playlist name, the main movie, and the created on date.

How to play a playlist

  1. On a playlist card, click Play.
  2. If the main movie has a valid stored key, playback starts. Otherwise the Select Key File window opens — choose the key file to continue (see Playing a Film with Player Controls).
  3. While a playlist plays, the card shows "Playing: n of total" and reveals playlist controls.
