The Films screen is the home of Convoy Cinema and the first thing you see after signing in. It lists every film available to your cinema, lets you search and filter them, and is the jumping-off point for viewing details, downloading, and playback.
Before you start
- You must be signed in and the device must be paired to a screen — see Signing In and Pairing a Device to a Screen.
- The subtitle reads "List of all movies available on Convoy".
How to find a film
- Open the Films screen (click the Convoy logo / "Cinema App" in the top bar, or the back arrow, from anywhere).
- Use the Search films… box to search by title. Results update automatically as you type (there's a short delay after you stop typing). A spinner shows while searching; the result count appears below.
- Narrow the list with the three tabs:
- All Films — everything available.
- Downloaded Films — only films already downloaded to this device.
- Available Films — films not yet downloaded.
- Switch between list and grid layouts using the two view icons on the right.
- Click a film's View button (list view) or its poster (grid view) to open its details — see Viewing Film Details.
Paging through results
The footer shows "start – end of total items". Use Previous / Next to move between pages (20 films per page).

Deleting a downloaded film
- On a downloaded film's row, click the red Trash icon.
- In the "Delete Downloaded Film" dialog, confirm you want to remove film name. This warns the action cannot be undone.
- Click Delete. A success toast confirms removal and the film returns to "Available".
Empty states
- Searching with no matches shows "No films found" and a Clear search button.
- While the first page loads you'll see a loading spinner.
