KDM keys are the key delivery messages that unlock encrypted films for playback. The KDM Keys screen in Convoy Cinema lists the key files issued to your cinema and lets you download them to disk, so they're available when you play a film. Reach it from the Keys link in the top bar.
Before you start
- You must be signed in — see Signing In.
- Keys are issued per cinema; the subtitle reads "Download KDM keys for your cinema".
- Once downloaded, a key is used when you play its film — see Playing a Film with Player Controls.
How to download a KDM key
- Open Keys from the top bar. The screen lists available KDM files, each showing its file name and size.
- Click Download next to the key you need.
- A "Download Started" message confirms the file is downloading.
- The footer summarises how many keys are available ("N keys available for download").

Refreshing the list
Click the Refresh icon (top-right) to reload the list of available keys — for example after new keys have been issued.
